Super deep questions and a funny dog reaction - 5/28/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! 

This week was great! We had a super cool conversation with this guy named Juan who had lots of super deep questions. He said we were the first people he's talked to who tried to respond let alone have answers to all his crazy questions. It was pretty fun to talk to him. He said we could come back and talk some more too! 

This week a sister missionary who I really loved had to go home early from her mission. That's the picture of me with the blondie. She got really sick and had to go home for a little bit. It's been weird without her but it's all part of the plan! Also, a sister who got evacuated from Nicaragua came and took her spot! It's really cool because she knows a lot of my MTC buddies who went there too!  

One funny thing that happened this week was when we knocked on this door and the lady's dog got super duper excited and so when she opened the door she picked up her dog and she just like peed all over the place. It was HILARIOUS. It got all over the floor and my shoes. The best part was my companion's reaction. I think she'd never seen a dog pee before hahahaha. All is well with my shoes haha. 

We also did a lot of walking this week in the heat of 98-110 degrees. That was fun. Texas is the best haha.

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
