Mini Miracle Week - 3/5/2018
Hello my beautiful friends and family!
Last little miracle that I can think of was Sonia! We were walking back to our car one night when we ran into her (not literally) and started talking to her. Come to find out that she and her husband have problems lifting heavy objects but they needed help moving apartments. We went over the next day with the Elders (the guy missionaries) and helped her move! She was really very nice to us and we are planning on seeing her again soon.
This week nothing HUGE happened but we have a few tiny little miracles.(Not in chronological order)
First of all, the other day we were trying to contact someone but they weren't home but there was this kid(11 or 12 yrs/old) outside their apartment building that we talked to briefly and after we had knocked on the original door we hear this quiet voice behind us that said, "try 5". Meaning apartment 5. So, we did! She was super nice and had talked to missionaries before! We taught her about the Book of Mormon and we will probably go back soon. It was pretty cool :) Then, when we were done talking to that lady the kid was gone. Crazy soup! It was pretty cool.
We also had a conversation with a deaf lady. I know that sounds crazy but it was. She was incredibly nice and knew who we were! We did a combination of writing things out on our phones and doing little signs. She was a miracle! We are hoping to teach her soon. It was also cool because I had knocked on her door a couple times before and never had anything come of it. This time we felt we should try again and she was there! It was cool :)
So, although life is never ideal, we can constantly be looking for the good in the world around us. Little things that God does for us are often the things we should notice the most. Ether 12:4
" Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God."
And I know it's true.
Lots of pictures this week!
I'm the shortest one in my district right now even though I feel like the tallest.
yummy pizza
and a huge moth
the picture of my companion with her owl picture requires a small background story: Our ward was having a fundraiser for the youth to go on a trip this summer and so they had a yard sale with a bunch of donated stuff. My companion fell in love with this huge picture of owls and she bought it for 2$. How she's going to get it home? no idea haha. But it just goes to show how goofy she is. :) We get along great.
