Semana de Milagros - 5/14/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! I hope this emails finds you all healthy and happy.

This week was spectacular. Yesterday I got the video chat with my awesome mother and the rest of my immediate family and it was so great to see and hear from them all. Happy Mothers day to all those wonderful women out there!

This past Saturday Lauren Cruz was baptized! She's been an investigator for a long time and she finally decided to be baptized! She is 17 and the first member in her family but her sister and her dad are both investigating the church! She's super awesome and we love her a lot.

We saw a bunch of small miracles this week too! One of them was with Lauren's baptism. Lauren's parents are separated and they've had some problems with her mom recently and so Sister Hatch and I decided to fast that day for peace at the Baptism and for everyone to feel the spirit. IT WORKED! Her mother came and there was zero contention. And, the next day, Lauren's step mother talked to us about how spiritual and peaceful the Baptism felt and about how much of a miracle it was that there was not contention. We're super grateful for that.

The other day we also had a pretty hard day. Sister Hatch and I both had a headache for some reason, it was SO HOT and nobody seemed to want to us. But, we pushed through! We were blessed. We ended up talking to this super cool guy named Fernie who was really interested in our message and he's got a family! We felt super blessed. We're excited to see where the Gospel takes them.

We also had a really great lesson with one our investigators named Diana. She's a wonderful woman and the STLTs (the assistants to the president who are sisters) 'randomly' were walking past as we him were closing the lesson on her front porch and we invited them to say a closing prayer with us. They came and ended up extending the lesson and totally crushing a few of her doubts! It was great! And we foresee her progressing a lot more now. It was a miracle!

Anyway, I love you all very much and I am so grateful for all your support and love. Keep me posted on your lives! Email me back or write me a letter!
