PRISCILLA! - 2/5/2018


Hello my beautiful friends and family!

This week was another fabulous week! Our pride and joy, Priscilla, was finally immersed in the waters of baptism! She finally made a convenant with her Father in Heaven to follow him and he promised to always be there for her! We are so excited! I have been working with her for my whole mission! Yesterday in church she bore her testimony in front of the whole ward! We couldn't believe it but we were super excited. She told her conversion story! She has gone through so much and has overcome so much more to get to where she is now. Her baptism was legitimately a punch in the face to Satan... I hate that guy...

Other than that, it was a pretty normal (yet awesome) week. We talked to anyone who would listen and did all we could to help those around us.

The ward is still doing great as well! Miles (who was baptized last week) and his family are fitting right into the ward and being welcomed with open arms. It's amazing to see the support they have for them.

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. This plaque is hanging in the Wyoming Ward church building in Wyoming, Michigan. It has Lara's favorite scripture and the location and dates of her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Wyoming Ward also gave one to her family.

Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
