I'm a trainer!!! - 2/26/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! I hope this email finds you all well.

This week was very interesting. I picked up my new greenie(new missionary) Sister Langford on Tuesday and we have been adjusting and helping her get to know the area pretty much all week. 

Honestly, not too much else happened besides that. We are still plugging a lot trying to find people to help. :)

One little miracle that happened was that we had just got done visiting some members who needed our help and in the closing prayer (I said it), I prayed that we'd have the chance to stop and enjoy the great creations around us. Right after that as we were walking out I looked up and between these two palm trees I saw the moon and I tried to take a picture of it but it was so beautiful! It was just a little way that the Lord shows us love and mercy in the little things. I love the palm trees here!

I know the Lord loves us and knows exactly what we need . Trust  in Him, even if it's hard and He will always deliver you.

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. This plaque is hanging in the Wyoming Ward church building in Wyoming, Michigan. It has Lara's favorite scripture and the location and dates of her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Wyoming Ward also gave one to her family.

Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
