Hibiscus - 11/13/2017
Hello everyone!
This week was packed! I went on my first exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders, we set another Baptism date and we talked to a BUNCH of people.
So, we recently have not had too much luck finding new people to teach, and the ward is really struggling also. So, we decided to focus on the ward. It has been awesome! I love the people here and I think many members just needed to know that they can trust the missionaries. So, a while back there was a sister here who apparently lost the trust of the ward (I don't know details) and then the hurricane happened and now we are here attempting to repair. So, the people here are really struggling but I have noticed that every day it gets a little better. they are starting to really love us as we are starting to really love them. I am very optimistic that we will be able to find someone to teach through these efforts.
Missionary life is THE BEST. I love it so much! I am so fortunate to be a missionary at this time at this place. I can see the Lord working in the lives of these amazing people.
ALSO. There are hibiscus bushes ALL OVER here! It makes me so happy and I finally took a picture with one this week. :) for those who don't know, they are one of my favorite flowers.
Thank you all for everything that you do for me! Let me know if i can do anything for ya'll!
The Gospel is true. God lives. Christ lives. They love us so much! Pray for courage to share that! It will be given to you!
