Pinata for Cinco De Mayo - 5/7/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! 

Coming at y'all today from the lovely Rio Grande Valley a little sunburned but mostly super excited! 
This week was a great week! We had a pinata for Cinco De Mayo and an awesome missionary activity with the ward, We got a few new investigators and a bunch of missionaries got bronchitis! I am good though and so is my companion! We saw many little miracles! For example, We had not had a very successful day and them all of a sudden we got a text form one of our investigators who wanted to meet! We went over and had a really cool lesson with him and his cousin! We were very grateful! We also delivered cookies to a ton of people and got a great response :) 

Remember that the Lord loves you more than you can know!

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. This plaque is hanging in the Wyoming Ward church building in Wyoming, Michigan. It has Lara's favorite scripture and the location and dates of her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Wyoming Ward also gave one to her family.

Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
