*Coco* - 6/18/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family!
This week was great! We had interviews with our mission president, we got to watch the movie Coco, and it's been raining periodically for a while ( so it's not so freaking HOT)! We are also pretty excited because Lauren (a recent convert) and Alyssa (an investigator) went to Youth Conference! They loved it! I knew that they would. We got to watch Coco because it's all about family history and the plan of salvation! I loved it! It's such a cute movie! If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest that you do. We also went on exchanges with our lovely Sister Training Leaders which was super fun. We also helped this amazing family in our ward to find some family history names in their family tree and we all cried! It was such a wonderful experience!
I love being a missionary and I hope you all are finding joy in your lives.

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. This plaque is hanging in the Wyoming Ward church building in Wyoming, Michigan. It has Lara's favorite scripture and the location and dates of her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Wyoming Ward also gave one to her family.

Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
