Rain, Snow or Shine 12/11/2017
I dearly hope this email finds you all well, happy, and cozy for the marvelous holiday season.
First big news: It SNOWED in Corpus Christi, Texas for the first time in 13 years and it is my first winter here! Crazy! It was absolutely beautiful and it felt like home. :) Every was going insane about the snow and it was funny. I'm really glad that I was here to see that.
One of the pictures is of Irma and us! We are teaching her right now and she is so nice. The little girl is the funniest and cutest little girl ever. She is in our ward and her name is Cora and we are best buddies. She is about 3 years old.
This week was an all around good week. We taught a lot of lessons and met some awesome people. We were able to teach the Garcia kids again this week. and I got a picture with them too. :)
We also got to hear from Elder Quentin L. Cook. He is an apostle and he had some amazing council for us! He came and visited my mission and talked to all the missionaries. He talked a lot about love and he bore the most beautiful testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will never forget that.
A little miracle that we had a couple days ago: We didn't know what to do at night because one of our appointments fell through so we decided to go to Walgreen's and hand out Light the World cards (https://www.mormon.org/). Right when we got there the first person we saw was this guy named Tristan! We have taught him before but we lost contact and didn't know what happened. Now we have an appointment with him later this week! YAY!
I know the Lord lives and he loves us. He knows us all personally and perfectly. I know that we are all here for a reason and we just need to figure it out. The best way to do that is so ask God!
Scripture of the Week: Helaman 14:8
"And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall believe on the Son of God, the same shall have everlasting life."
