Do the cockroach dance - 3/26/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family!

This week was great. We really saw the benefits of service and hard work. We did 3 different service projects and because of that we didn't have as much time to be out and find people to teach but we still got a new investigator! What a blessing.

During one of the service projects we were moving broken branches and leaves to a big pile to be hauled off. As I was walking away from the big pile I felt something on the back of my neck and I just thought it was my hair. So, I went to brush my hair off my neck and when I looked at my hand (with a glove on thank goodness) there was the biggest cockroach I have ever seen. It was probably the size of 3 quarters layed next to each other and I freaked out and did a little "bug get off me" dance. It was crawling on my neck!! Terrible. Those cockroaches here are disgusting. 

Other than that it was all super fun! We got a lot of people to help out with hurricane clean up! Most people are recovering well from the hurricane but there are still a lot of people who need help. 

Recently we have been teaching this little girl named Bella. She is going to be baptized soon and her family is amazing! Her little brother made us pipecleaner bracelets. We are actually going to the aquarium with them today. They are the family in the big service picture with all the kids. :)

Last Preparation Day all the Sister Missionaries in our zone got together and did facemasks and played games and ate food. You'll see a picture of that. :) 
Some other pictures are of us with the Herins and their goats and their adorable dog, Daisy. I love those guys. Lots of Pictures! I hope you get them all 

I am so excited for Easter! Also, General Conference is this weekend and I am really looking forward to that as well.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well and I want you all to know that I know that God lives and loves us. I know that Christ overcame death so that we can one day be resurrected and we can be with our families forever! Thank goodness!

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
