Happy National Corn Dog Day! - 3/19/2018
This week was pretty cool. Last night we had a youth fireside about technology that my companion and I taught. We talked a lot about technology safety and sharing the gospel over social media. It was pretty cool! We got a lot of people to post on Facebook about their testimonies about the Book of Mormon!
This week we also did an exchange with some of our Sister Training Leaders to Annaville, Texas. Annaville is a lot more sketchy than Corpus Christi and so we had a lot of fun! Saturday was the day with did the exchange and it was also St. Patrick's Day but more importantly it was National Corn Dog Day and so there is a picture of Sister Pruhs and I getting corn dogs! It was a pretty fun day.
We also got a referral from our Bishop of a lady to go visit and we did and her name is Michelle and she is so cool! We have started teaching her and so far she loves it and wants to be part of it. She has an adorable autistic grandson who is maybe 6 or 7 named Cody. The first time we went over there we started teaching Michelle and then Cody came out of his room and came and gave us these little hugs and smiled really big at us and was being so nice to everyone. And Michelle was like, "Wow he is never that friendly and nice to people" and I thought that was so cool! He could definitely feel the spirit and his pure heart knew that we were the sources of that spirit at that time! Cool stuff!
I love Texas and I love the people here!
I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that his true church is back on the earth today and anyone who wants to know that too, can! We just have to ask and God with show us the truth. James 1:5- Ask and you will receive! We can receive peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come through His way. <3
Don't ever forget to take the little moments you have to enjoy the beautiful world around us. It was made for us to experience and enjoy!
