Ninja Snack Attack - 8/20/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family!

What a wonderful week in the beautiful Mercedes, Texas! We made a lot of dog friends and people friends. We also found this awesome little store in one of the neighborhoods we walk through a lot called the Ninja Snack Attack. They have raspas and water and nachos and all that good stuff. We're pumped about it. Also, one of our best investigators, Mary, moved back to Florida this week! She's in contact with the missionaries there and everything but we will miss her and her little boy, Isaac! They are super awesome people. We also have a few other people who are truly changing their lives to show God their commitment to Him. It is one of the biggest blessings in my life to watch other change as a result of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.



Always remember that the simplicity of the gospel does not mean it is any less true. Keep an eternal perspective and know that God loves you no matter what. These choices we make every single day and every moment help us in the long run. Don't be afraid to get rid of the extra stuff the crowds your life and pushes out the truly important things. Church, scripture study, prayer, family history, temple attendance, and quality family time are among the things which should be our top priority.

Hello my beautiful friends and family! First and foremost, I am profusely sorry that I did not write an email to all of you last week. And unfortunately this week it's going to be short again. We went paint-balling today and it was so much fun! We hit our goals last month and so we got to go paintball together as a reward. It was a blast. Pictures inserted. You also all might be glad to know that DARLENE CAME TO CHURCH! We had pretty much given up on her but then she came to church and she loved it! It was an awesome Sunday and we're so happy for her. She got a lot out of it. Other than that it was a pretty normal week. It's mine and Sister Chavez's and last week together and were going to make the very best of it. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week. Always remember how much you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. No matter what you do, He's there for you. Food for Darlene - 10/1/2018

Hello my beautiful friends and family! This week was a great week! One of our investigators named Vida came to church yesterday! She hadn't been progressing a whole lot and so we really didn't think she would come but she did. She liked it but she said it was a bit long haha.  In other news Sister Chavez was sick this week with a cold and allergies. So, we stayed in for one and a half days to let her recoup. I was super bored and I was so happy that she was getting better until I woke up yesterday morning with a minor sore throat and today I woke up with it worse! I'm getting what she had. It's just a bad cold but I'd rather not get it at all. There were two baptisms in our Branch this week. Adolfo and Daisy.
